MAX to support social housing tenants gain housing independence

MAX Solutions was awarded contracts to assist participants in positively exiting social housing through the New South Wales Government Opportunity Pathways program.

Opportunity Pathways is a new program initiative under NSW Government Family & Community Services. The program is voluntary and will be delivered by MAX Employment in 12 sites across NSW for the next three years.

Opportunity Pathways aims to assist participants in gaining, increasing or retaining employment by providing access to support and practical assistance, training and work opportunities with the intention of gaining housing independence and reduced reliance on government assistance..

MAX Employment will deliver Opportunities Pathways in the following locations:

Northern Sydney

• Brookvale
• Chatswood
• North Ryde

Sydney

• Burwood
• Campsie
• Lakemba
• Marrickville
• Sydney CBD
• Punchbowl

South Eastern Sydney

• Maroubra
• Rockdale
• Sutherland

MAX Solutions will empower Opportunity Pathways participants to become more self-confident, while improving mental and physical health, as well as being positive role models for their family and peers.
