MAX to provide more opportunity to people with disability

From July 1 2018, MAX Employment will deliver Disability Employment Services in 55 Employment Services Areas across 197 sites. As the largest provider of employment services, this recent announcement puts MAX in a position to bring our expertise and experience to more areas.

Following a recent grant application process, the Department of Social Services awarded MAX the opportunity to deliver our disability service in 15 new areas.
Since 2002 MAX has been operating in communities around Australia with offices in every State and Territory, providing employment, support and community services.
MAX Managing Director Deborah Homewood said that this was an opportunity to bring the expertise and quality service MAX delivers in existing areas to other parts of the country.
MAX has proven success in delivering Disability Employment Services, having delivered employment services for people with a disability since 2006. Last year alone, MAX helped over 9,572 people with disability find work. MAX is also the largest provider of the Australian Government’s jobactive contract, delivering services in 29 regions across Australia.
The improvements are already underway with further investment in technology, strengthening of our customer service standards and growth of our employer partnerships to create job opportunities across Australia.
MAX was recently awarded Disability Confident Recruiter status by the Australian Network on Disability, demonstrating commitment to delivering equal opportunity, particularly in the employment arena. The achievement puts MAX in a position to lead by example, encouraging Disability Confidence within its employer networks and providing even more employment opportunities for our customers.
