To be eligible you need to be of working age (between 15 and Aged Pension age) and looking for full time work. Be registered as a jobseeker and be an Australian citizen, permanent resident or have working rights in Australia.
You may be eligible for the AMEP if you are a permanent resident of Australia or you hold an eligible temporary visa.
