David has 8+ years of experience working with adults presenting with: 

•  Mood disorders,
•  Anxiety disorders,
•  Stress, and
•  Trauma

David completed his Master of Applied Psychology in 2015. He has extensive experience providing mental health support and vocational counselling to adults. David has a particular interest in sleep disorders, psychoneuroimmunology, mindfulness, positive psychology and managing the effects of burnout and chronic stress.

Counselling experience


David has experience with providing supportive counselling to clients with a range of complex psychological, personal, and social challenges. David uses psychological interventions and mindfulness to assist adults with mood, anxiety, and stress disorders. He uses sleep hygiene interventions to assist clients with mood disorders and associated sleep disturbances.

David has experience with providing motivational interviewing and supportive counselling to clients with alcohol and drug dependence, and linkages to external community treatment and support programs (such as, drug treatment, AOD counselling, detoxification, and rehabilitation programs).
