Manage your health

We run a number of group health programs in Australia aimed at supporting individuals. Through group workshops, we help people learn new strategies to manage health conditions whilst returning to work.

Being part of a group can have a number of advantages. Not only does it create a positive social environment to participate in, but individuals can also feel valued, strengthened and inspired by one another by working together.

Our group health programs are available to eligible customers receiving a service from us. If you are interested in taking part in one of our health programs, talk to your consultant.

Resilience Workshop

Supports customers towards increasing their personal resilience. Building personal resilience empower customers to be ready for the next life challenge and employment. This workshop explores the brain and how it responds in times of stress. It examines how to be more prepared, and how to respond in ways that lead to better outcomes. It provides tools and resources to become more resilient and improve overall health and wellbeing.

My Wellbeing

For people to develop new coping skills to improve mental health and wellbeing, and manage depression, anxiety and stress at work.

8 x 2 hour sessions.

Reshape My Life

Women’s group health program to identify suitable jobs, improve mental and physical health, develop healthy self-esteem, build connections in the community and increase motivation for work.

Group and individual self reflection activities.

Sessions are facilitated by an allied health professional.
Duration
12x 1.5 hour sessions.

Person- Job Fit

By identifying suitable jobs and developing an individualised workplace support plan, customers can ensure they get the right job to be successful long term.

Sustaining Work

Individual modules that support customers to develop skills in common areas that impact sustainable work Goal setting; Anger Management; Budgeting and Finance; Communication; Managing Stress at Work; Problem Solving; Time Management; Work Life Balance; Conflict in the Workplace; Injury Management in the Workplace; Securing and Maintaining Employment; Managing Relationships.


Activity based learning
Combines theoretical knowledge with practical skills to optimise the learning experience.
Delivery
Sessions are facilitated by an allied health professional.
Duration
1.5 hours/ module.

Manual Handling Program

Provides customers with the knowledge needed to work safely and use correct manual handling techniques to reduce the risk of injury.


Activity-based learning
Combines theoretical knowledge with practical skills workshops to optimise the learning experience.

The interactive material is delivered by a qualified allied health professional.
Duration
Completed in a single 2 hour session.

Work Conditioning Program

Improving physical capacity to support customers with an injury back into work, or to sustain their current work through tailored group exercise programs.

Preparing for Work

Prepares customers to make effective social adjustments to workplace demands in the context of each person’s own unique challenges.

Physical Resilience Program

Focused on improving customers’ understanding of physical wellbeing and resilience. Customers develop the skills required to improve their physical health resilience, and learn how resilience can improve other aspects of their life.

Each of the 12 sessions are run over 2 hours.

Vocational Planning

Assist customers identify career options and build confidence for job seeking around the specific job goals.


Self-identifying
Guiding participants through various activities to identify work goals.

An experienced health professional facilitates the learning activities.
Duration
3 x 2 hour sessions.

Health STEP-UP Program

Designed to develop essential skills that will help customers find and maintain suitable employment. These include career planning, interview skills along with physical and mental health support strategies.

Includes interactive learning opportunities.
Delivery
An experienced health professional facilitates the learning activities.
Duration
10 x 3 hour sessions or 5 x 5 hour sessions

Effective Communication Group

Develops awareness of the need for effective and supportive communication. Customers can learn the essential skills for communicating well with employers and colleagues.

Material is delivered over 5 sessions, 2 hours each.
