Employment, health and training services provider, MAX Solutions, announced today that it has acquired workplace medical services provider Injurynet on the 28th February.

Injurynet boasts over two decades of experience in the health sector and has one of the largest national medical practitioner networks in Australia, working to prevent and reduce the impact of injury and illness in both the workplace and the community.

As part of MAXIMUS, a global leader in health services, the acquisition by MAX Solutions strengthens its place as a leading provider of health and human services in Australia.

“The combination of our two organisations brings together capability and scale that will provide fresh opportunities for the business. We are excited about the breadth of services MAX Solutions will be able to bring to individuals and communities across the country,” said Deborah Homewood, Managing Director of MAX Solutions.

Work has begun to ensure there is a seamless transition and ensure the continuation of existing services with Injurynet founder, David Milecki, joining the Executive team at MAX Solutions.

“It is fantastic to be able to add to our capability at all levels of the organisation. Not only will David bring with him years of experience in this sector, but we will also be adding medical doctors, nurses and other qualified health professionals to our employee base,” said Ms Homewood.

MAX Solutions already provides a range of health support services to its employment services division, offers services through the National Disability Insurance Scheme and also conducts a broad range of health assessment services following the acquisition of Assessments Australia in 2015.

The acquisition of Injurynet adds a range of further services and capabilities including; injury management, medical assessments, medical advisory and fitness for duty services.
