MAX Solutions awarded contract to deliver assessment services to students with disability

MAX Solutions is proud to announce the successful renewal of the Victorian Department of Education and Training (DET) contract The Program for Students with Disabilities (PSD) – Assessment Service in categories of Intellectual Disability and Severe Language Disorder with Critical Educational Needs.

Assessments Australia (AA), a MAX Solutions Company, has provided high quality programs for students with disabilities for nearly 15 years. With specific expertise in the Victorian education sector, AA has proven ability delivering in-school based assessments, eligibility evaluations and auditing services.

AA has conducted over 24,000 assessments across 1,500 government schools, including mainstream and specialist school settings, in Victoria over the last four years. Providing a mobile service to schools across Victoria, assessments are conducted by psychologists and speech pathologists face-to-face with students.

The outcomes from assessments determine the eligibility to apply for support through the PSD Program as well as providing a comprehensive report on student’s abilities and their needs.


AA has built strong collaborative working relationships with stakeholders including the Department of Education and Training, Schools, Parents and very importantly students with disability. Working collaboratively allows innovation and improvement of services to benefit all stakeholders. Staff have substantial experience assessing and working with students with complex disabilities and needs.

Assessments Australia is privileged to have delivered the PSD – Assessment Service since 2015 and MAX Solutions is proud to extend this working relationship with the Department of Education and Training.
