MAX Employment Celebrates Christmas with 30 Australian Charities

The Christmas bells are ringing for 30 charities across Australia as MAX Employment gives $5.00 for every job they fill to 23 December.

Orange Sky Laundry, Oz Harvest in Canberra and Youth off the Streets are some of the charities local MAX employees chose to support this Christmas.

Managing Director Ms Deborah Homewood said, “Every year we run a Christmas campaign, but this year we really wanted to bring it closer to home, so I asked our guys on the ground to choose a local charity to support, and the response was overwhelming.

“We really have a wonderful team working at MAX who are connected to their communities,” she said.

“We are working with small charities like the Wollongong Homeless Hub and Launceston City Mission that do amazing work supporting their communities, as well as national charities like Lifeline and Headspace and every time we place someone into work we will donate $5.00 to support that charity’s work.

“There is no greater gift at Christmas than to see someone who has struggled to gain employment find a job and the charities we have chosen to work with are the same ones that many of our clients work with – so it makes perfect sense to support them any way we can.” she said.

The MAX Employment Christmas campaign runs until 23 December 2016.
