Rachel Chapman-McCowan appointed MAX Solutions Executive General Manager Human Resources.

MAX Solutions is pleased to announce the appointment of Rachel Chapman-McCowan as Executive General Manager Human Resources (HR). Rachel joins the Executive leadership team, bringing with her a wealth of experience across senior HR roles as well as management roles in MAX Employment service operations.

After 23 years HR experience, including Executive HR roles with ASX listed companies and international entities, Rachel came to work at MAX in 2013. Working with MAX operational teams for the past six years has provided Rachel direct experience of the issues faced by our front-line employees and managers.

“Employee’s lives don’t end when they walk out the doors each day. Understanding the different hats we wear outside of work as parents, partners, children, carers and more means the HR team are able to put the right levels of support, development and flexibility,” Rachel said.

MAX has a history of innovation in the HR department, promoting key health initiatives to decrease stress and burnout, as well as an emphasis on professional development to ensure growth of employee’s long term. MAX also provide an Employee Assistance Program to those who may be struggling with mental health, relationships, parenting, work-life balance, work stress, organisational change and more.

In 2014, the business introduced Domestic Violence Leave as a standard entitlement to employees, four years ahead of its introduction in legislation. The business also provides access to paid volunteer and paid community service leave, providing employees with flexibility to support causes important to them.
