Fees and Charges
AMEP and SEE
Our English language training through the Adult Migrant English Program and Skills for Education and Employment are available at no cost to the student so long as the eligibility criteria are met. Go to the SEE or AMEP page to see if you are eligible.
The Employability Skills Training (EST) is the first stage of the PaTH program and is also available at no cost to the student providing they meet eligibility criteria. You can check here or ask your placement consultant.
Certificate III Guarantee - Queensland Only
The C3G guarantee provides a government subsidy towards the training costs for eligible individuals undertaking their first Certificate III qualification after leaving school. It supports school students and Year 12 school leavers by giving them fee free access to training in high priority qualifications, helping them in to employment and is provided by the Department of Education and Training.
Eligible students are only entitled to one Government subsidised training place in a funded Certificate III qualification. It is very important that you take the time to consider and compare your training options and costs before signing an enrolment form or committing to a course of study which will use up your entitlement.
Student Co-contribution Fees for concessional* and non-concessional participants apply to all qualifications offered through the Certificate 3 Guarantee Program. Student Co-contribution Fees are the essential training costs for participants to undertake the qualification and include service fees, material fees and other costs associated with delivering the training. Under a traineeship, both the employer and student will be required to pay an amount towards the course. The fees for the standard training plan are below.
Fees are based on units in the Qualification and are calculated at $1.60 per nominal hour for each unit of competency. Fees for elective units will be added to the standard training plan once they are applied for and confirmed with the student.
Full Fees - Certificates I - IV and Diplomas
If your course isn't subsidised or funded, you will need to pay the full fee for the course.
*Concessional participants are defined as participants who hold a health care concession card or pensioner card issued under the Commonwealth law, or is the partner or a dependant of a person who holds a Health Care Card or Pensioner Card; participant who is Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander; or participant who holds an official form under the Commonwealth law confirming the participant is entitled to concessions under a health care concession card or pensioner concession card.
