We are a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) providing training solutions for individuals and business in every Australian state and territory.
Training can make a huge difference in improving your success when looking for work. If you have just left full time study, lost full time employment or are looking to change industry, training could be the foot in the door you need to secure work.
Not all training is about sitting in a classroom learning a specific trade. The world of training can offer a whole range of choices to help you grow and develop in your career. It might be that you're looking for some extra help with your CV or Interview skills, wanting to gain English language skills or even accredited qualifications in specific industries.
When looking at doing some training, its worth considering a few important points.
Is it right for me?
When looking at different courses, have a look at the learning outcomes. It's here that you will find the detail of what things you will learn and be sure that these are skills you want to acquire. Some courses are delivered through classroom based learning, some will have vocational or placement aspects and some will have online learning elements. Make sure you understand the way the course will be delivered and that you're happy with that. You can refer to our help and advice page or our manual for further information.
Will it help me get a job?
Undergoing training or getting a certificate might only be the first step. Look at the career pathways of individual qualifications to understand where it might lead and what potential job roles you would do in the future. Training works best when combined with experience. Once you've completed a course, consider apprenticeships or other work experience to help improve your chances.
How much will it cost?
There are a number of ways a course can be funded or subsidised. Much of our training comes at no financial cost to individuals but for some there will be fees, depending on your eligibility. Make sure that you have a read though the eligibility requirements to make sure that you can access funding for the training or have a talk with someone from our team.
Where do I start?
A good place to begin is to do some research. Have a think about the sorts of industries you'd like to work in or skills you'd like to acquire. Take a look at the courses page to see whats available.
Talking to someone will help you navigate the various options that are available. You can speak to someone from our team either in person, on the phone or by email.
If you know what course you'd like to do already and have read the eligibility and requirements, you can apply to enrol straight away.
